FOR AND AGAINST - Christian Arteaga

To begin, although most people traveling on the planet are bilingual or monolingual, it should not be ruled out that one of the big problems when traveling is being able to communicate 100%, without misunderstanding. Next, we will show the advantages and disadvantages of speaking more than one language.

One of the main reasons to learn another language is that it becomes easier to communicate with others while you are traveling, and you can make friends along the way.
In the world of laboral work, it is also important as it helps you find more work a little easier, both speaking English, Spanish, French, Chinese ...
Futhermore, we must also say that learning more than one language helps retain Alzheimer's for a few years, since it exercises the brain and expands memory when exchanging the language.

One of the most common disadvantages is to confuse the language, and more if the language is like your native language. It is easy to confuse Spanish with Catalan (forget and obliterate) or Catalan and French (formatge and fromage) or even confuse concepts, such as in Spanish "Gamba" is an "animal" while in Italian it means "leg" This can cause many problems when talking to someone.
One of the most difficult things to learn another language is "Grammar" because in each language it is structured differently.

Futhermore, one of the things that can take you back is the high cost of the course ... if you finally go to an academy, for example a course to learn Korean would cost € 280 per quarter.

In conclusion, I am in favor of learning several languages by simply being able to communicate better with other people and by retaining Alzheimer's if possible.
