Nowadays, Black Friday is celebrated everywhere like an international party/day. On this day you can shop anything you want, specially technology, but cheaper because all shops make discounts.

Firstly, I think that it helps people with less money to buy their Christmas gifts without spending a lot and founding the best offers about what they want.
Also, it helps owners, because people buy a lot on these days, they have to put down the prices but at the end the won money.
On one hand I think it's worthy, but on the other hand I feel like our mind goes crazy these days and we buy a lot of things that we don't really need just because they are cheaper.
It started on technology or products that are usually expensive, and now we have discounts for literally everything, included food or clothes.

So, in conclusion, I think we just need to find the balance between only buying what we need or not doing discounts and our society of consumerism.

At first glance, the Black Friday seems to benefit us, as it allows us to buy the most discounted Christmas gifts and even be able to buy more ... But is it really a good idea?

In my opinion, I think that Black Friday promotes consumerism even more, and all they want is to increase their purchasing power, especially clothing and electronics companies.

But if we go further, this is a danger to our planet.It is proven that in rich countries we accumulate about 10,000 objects per person and really, how many of all of these we really need?

The only thing we do is create waste and more waste and buy things and more things needlessly and with this way we are destroying  the planet.

In conclusion, I think the Black Friday is just another example of the capitalist world in which we live and the point is to realize what we are doing and try to reduce our consumption.

With that way, if we all become aware and make an effort, we will help to make better use of the world in which we live.

In Catalonia two languages are spoken, Catalan and Spanish, witch enriches our culture as a country. But not all the people has the same opinion.

On the one hand, one of the main advantages of being bilingual is that you have more capacity to learn another language or the possibility to find a more qualified job.  In addition, in the case of Catalonia, apart from having its own language the Catalan, there is also  the official language of the Spain's state, the castellan. Indeed, a language spoken in various regions of the world and one of the most important of it. This reality enables us to communicate with a wider number of people, keeping the language and culture of our region.

On the other hand, some people think that being bilingual also has disadvantages. They believe that speak two languages, when they are closed related,  makes that you could mix both lenguajes and speak badly. In a certain way it is not completely wrong, because demands much more to master two languages than just one, but when you achieve the competence on both languages the rewards of knowing well more than one idiom is evident.

From my point of view, it is not a great barrier to communicate in Catalonia. I have testify several times people speaking Catalan and the other one Spanish and being able to understand each other perfectly without having great problems. It is only a matter of getting used to it and also to have good will to adapt to the circumstances.

In conclusion, I think that being bilingual brings more rewards than inconveniences. It allows you to meet and communicate with more people, to travel around to places with confidence, to know better other cultures and their history, and so on.

SHOULD DRUGS BE LEGAL?


Once a day society discuss about tabbaco and alcohol, the two most popular legal drugs. There are two point views, should be legal, or not, in my opinion it's too late to convert this drougs to an infraction, so I think that tabbaco and alcohom sould be legal.

Why?first of all, these are two drugs that are too normalized in our society, so if the goberment converted too ilegal drougs, all the people that they consumed, i think that they will continue consuming it to ilegal form.

Secondly i think that it will be appear a lot of trafficant and it will be more black money in the black market, it will be more dangerous.

Furthermore, according to the other two personal arguments, i think that it will be more dangerus for the ilegal consumers that obviusly they are not to finish with his consum. Why it will be more dangerous? In my point view, i think that the trafficants will put more subsatncies like addictives or other thibgs that we dont know. But if the tabbaco is legal, you know exactly what contains, so finally in my opinion, obiusly the tabbaco and alcohol should be legal.

LEGAL DRUGS 

Nowadays, in all countries, alcohol and tobacco are legalized and are addictive substances that may harm the health of those who take them. Many people consume them. But the question se need to answer is: should the government make these substances illegal?

According that tobacco contains more than 600 additives (4000 chemical substances) and that the cuithorities themselves only know about 40 it is a very strong and deadly drug. Realated to alcohol there are many part of the population ends up becoming dependent too. On the other hand, It is a way to pay your death.

The government gets benefits from this and the main reason for not prohibiting It is that they earn more and more money with tobacco taxes. They have always been normalized by society and are not drugs badly seen.

Personally, I think that It would be necessary to legalized any type of drug and at the same time raise awareness and educate much more about what causes the consumption. It this way everyone would be free to decide which path they want to take, but being aware and consistent whit their acts.

First of all, we have to understand that making this drugs legal are a way for the government to control this market in particular and earn money.

Secondly, valuing all the drugs that exist and its culture, maybe tobacco and alcohol are the ones less judged and more accepted in general. Furthermore, it is probably because they are the softest or at least they are considered that way.

Moreover, I think that if the government make this kind of drugs illegal people will continue buying them.

Many people claim alcohol and tobacco should be illegalizad by the government due to the danger it is for person's health such as many addictive substances like cocaine or marihuana.

Nowadays, every time we can see that the stores lower the prices of their products before Christmas arrives to obtain more benefits. However, we must ask ourselves if this is necessary or is only a new form of consumption.

Personally, I think that people usually buy more (especially mobile phones, movies…) on Black Friday since we can find that the prices of the products are discounted. This makes consumers buy more in those days and not a Christmas as normal prices return.

In addition, this new form of consumerism can greatly benefit store owners because thanks to the discounts they have, many more people will buy and, in this way, they get more benefits than if prices had not dropped.

On the other hand, this attitude towards causes small stores in less to be affected by this event. For that, they are forces to lower their prices, but they get less profit.

In conclusion, I believe that Black Friday is unnecessary because people don’t know they are buying products that are not necessary in your day to day.

      Governments are supposed to put order and seek the benestar of citizens, “are
supposed”, but that is not their priority and it upsets the people. In this case the

Surely the governments have made deals with the companies of these products
due to their great commerce, and that is why the governments when receiving
benefits ignore the situation. Because that a part of the people have been let down,

Therefore, I think that governments should split up with these harmful companies
and look out for the citizens health. Because these substances don't bring anything

Currently, tobacco and alcohol are considered a legal drug ... But at what price are you willing to pay for having a lung or liver disease?

In my opinion I think that governments should stop making these substances such as alcohol and tobacco mainly for the health of the consumer, even if these two products produce a lot of money. Although these products are aimed at people over 18 years of age there is still a youth sector that consumes these products simply by fashion or being integrated into a group, of course it is creating dependence on alcohol and tobacco.

The only good thing that could be done to all this is that these products generate a lot of money ...

In order for this idea to illegalize tobacco and alcohol, governments must take the initiative so that the rest of the person will join it, because if they do not do so in the end they will never reach anything.

Because for every teenager who gets drunk and commits some madness or for every adult with respiratory problems consume a legal drug many companies benefit at their expense.

Black Friday an event made for the middle and lower class? Or a way to consume more products?

On this subject I am somewhat divided, since I am one more consumer of that event that so many people yearn to buy things.

The good thing about this event is obvious that the prices of the products fall considerably, perhaps that the product is that cheap and lie to us in order to sell more.

As many people would come to this event it is clear that more staff is needed to be able to supply so many people / demands, so they hire more people, generating employment.

Thanks to this event, many people of the lower and middle class can afford to buy more things that they normally cannot do on a normal day.

I guess the only thing against this great event is that capitalism continues to thrive and produce products that we really don't need ... we can really live with the just and we would be happy, just like the rest of the people who live with the little.

In conclusion, we can take advantage of this event to be able to buy what we need by being aware that we buy the right thing or on the contrary we can forget it and not be one more of the flock.

Nowadays it is believed that Black Friday has become the biggest shopping day in many countries apart from the United States. However, is it true?

Firstly, the cause of its popularity is due to the many discounts. So, even though the price, people are attracted to something extremely expensive, as in theory, the price is lower than the original one.

Secondly, it is not famous just for the reason of the customers, the shop owners also contribute to this festivity, as even though the prices are cheaper, it is sold more products in a day than in a current month, and if shops don't low the prices "as they should", in this period of Black Friday it is gained a lot of money.

Finally, as Black Friday is on November, a lot of people take advantage to buy "cheaper" Christmas presents. However, this celebration and the date it is, has caused a lot of trouble with fights and places that were over-crowded.

To sum up, Black Friday is an unnecessary celebration where a lot of people waste their money just because it is thought prices are lower.

OPINION ESSAY

Nowadays, many people drink alcohol and smoke regularly, without realising which are the consequences of doing it. For this reason, there is a debate about whether the government should ban these substances. To my mind, I am convinced that this measure will be beneficial for everybody even though it may upset some people.

Firstly, we all know how harmful is tobacco and alcohol for our health, however, we continue consuming because it is not forbidden; which it is very worrying since there is a great majority that is teenagers. Even when the law bans to buy these substances for people underage, there is not a strict control over it and they can get them easily. Making them illegal for everybody, will guaranty fewer consumers because it will be harder to get it.

On the other hand, drinking and smoking as a habit not only does it hurt our body,  but also it hurts our wallets. The price of tobacco is already expensive and it is only increasing. In my opinion, we spend a lot of money on things that are not useful neither beneficial for us. In addition, they are specially created to make us addicted and making sure, that we will keep consuming it and wasting our money on their business; promoting inevitably capitalism. 

Furthermore, in tobacco’s industry, they use animals to test their products, making them inhale the smoke, which is clearly harmful and sometimes lethal for them. Consequently, when we buy it we are contributing to this animal abuse that sometimes we are not aware of it. Although some companies do not use these methods, the majority does it. For that reason, it should be stopped and prevent the industries from doing more harm.

To sum up, as far as I am concerned, alcohol and tobacco are addictive substances like drugs that are harmful to our health and animals. So, if the government creates a law to make illegal them, I will approve of it. Since their industries are not beneficial economically and morally, especially, when their sale is not well controlled in the present.

It is well know that many people buy Black Friday day, because prices so down a lot and Christmas is very close. But the question is whether and effect of consumerism or is it necessary to have this day.

I believe that the Black Friday is a strategy of large multinationals to sell more, taking advantage of the arrival Christmas. This generates a consumer environment and in my opinion exaggerated. I am of the opinion that Black Friday should be cancelled, because it is unnecessary.

Furthermore, I feel that there campaigns favour companies that generate more sales volume and negatively affect local businesses.

To sum up, as I mentioned before, this event doesn’t seem necessary for me, because it favours mass consume and is a waste of time and money.

Nowadays, it is more common to spend money before Christmas, specifically on Black Friday, which is a celebration that makes discounts before the Christmas holiday. But it is a good idea for shop owners to offer large discounts before Christmas? It is really necessary to have that day? To my mind, the answer is clear, I think it is not necessary, but a lot of people spend their money buying presents for Christmas on Black Friday.

First of all, in my opinion, consumers believe that it is better to buy Christmas gifts on this day because they don't spend so much money than a week before Christmas, when all prices grow a lot. In this case, consumers are aware and are interested in this celebration.

On the other hand, this celebration benefits shop owners more than consumers, considering that a few weeks before Black Friday, many shops raise the prices of all their products, and when the day of the discount arrives, they lower the price to the initial number, only that people believe that it is lowered because they see the previous price already raised. In this other case, shop owners also get interested on Black Friday.

Finally, as I mentioned before, this celebration doesn’t seem necessary to me, but there are many people who like it and that is why it is done. It is a form of consumerism in which many people agree to celebrate it.

People, from an early age is taught that drugs are bad and they damage our health, that is the reason why are illegal. However, knowing that, why are alcohol and tobacco legal?

First of all, to understand why those drugs are legal and the others do not, we have to know the difference between them.

Alcohol and tobacco are the unique drugs that are totally controlled by the government. Some other substances can have additives that can hurt you more than usual, unnecessary secondary effects.

Another reason is  that these types of drugs are not as harder as others, they can be very addictive, but the damage is less than illegal drugs. Knowing that, governments made that drugs legal also due to the money they can earn in that industry.

Related to the point before, a big range of people smoke and drink alcohol. If those drugs were illegal, a lot of people would be tended to ignore the law or would be disgusted and that does not interest to the government, so, to be all happy, they made some drugs legal, not all of them, but the less damaging ones.

On balance, legal drugs are not as bad as the education made us think. Obviously, they damage our health, although, this legality has restrictions, thinking that people will consume those substances in a responsible way.

First of all, studies have shown that smoking and consuming together can increase the risk of throat and esophageal cancer. ... This can cause cancer causing agents to become trapped in opposition to the sensitive tissues of the throat. Furthermore, consuming alcohol and smoking at the same time influences how speedy the body can metabolize both drugs.

Secondly, they are so much consummed because they are so easy available, more than other illegal drugs, and if goverment illegalice them, it's a must that the death estadistics may decrease, as a reason of most of the people who will became afraid of having or buying them for not being judged or arrested.

In conclusion, cigarettes and alcohol must be banned. They are the only bad tablets that aren't illegal. People should not be dying because of these pills. They should no longer be spending an entire lot of cash and ruining their lives for cigarettes and alcohol.

Black Friday is the day after the US holiday of Thanksgiving, regarded as the first day of the Christmas shopping season, on which retailers make many special offers, and nowadays a lot of countries in the world had adopted this habit one week per year. Sadly, we take part in this insanity within the call of a holiday, as though buying presents was an ideal way to rejoice Christmas.

Consumerism is the purchase or accumulation of goods and services considered non-essential, which describes at all christmas and, with it, the Black Friday “holiday”. Every year, people are normalising them more and more, which makes all together a very consuming society, demonstrating that we have a lack criteria many times and that big industries have put us in the head that despite being a worker class we have to spend for unnecessary things which only perpetuate consumerism that damage our world and the environment with it.

But thankfully we've options: Instead of embracing Black Friday, we all can refuse to shop for material objects for humans to display our love; rather, we  can exhibit our love, caring, and affection through every day actions—every day, now not simply holidays or festivities.

In conclusion, i believe we should stop trying to be people we are not and try to emphazise with small shops and not to give so much importance to a day in our lifes, which makes us seem as crazy.

In my opinion, the government should not restrict tobacco or alcohol because it would create many more problems than there happen. 

First of all, if tobacco were banned people would stop finding another way to get it. This happens with the drugs, these are illegal but people keep using them and there is no ”antidote” that works so that it does not happen. That would create smuggling to get tobacco and alcohol.

Moreover, most people believe that if tobacco is prohibited, pollution in cities would reduce because tobacco is the problem. It must be taken into account that tobacco compared to other things that contaminate is little. 

For example, factories and especially cars pollute much more than tobacco. 

Last but not least, alcohol ins a moderate way can prevent heart disease, there are studies that explain that the antioxidants in red wine help the health of the heart and cardiovascular system. People who consume at least one alcoholic drink a week are less likely to have a heart disorder.

Speaking two languages has a lot of benefits and also disadvantages. Sometimes you can struggle in some type of situations. There are a lot of good things on being fluent on a language but there are also some handicaps on that. Firstly,speaking more than one language is beneficial because it allows you to have more vocabulary and helps you to understand other languages and other things. Something good of being bilingual is the fact that you can talk with more people from different places, it helps also to understand other people, to learn also faster some other languages that are similar. Also, it helps you with the register you have to use, for example when I was a kid I used the catalan for my family and teachers so it was more formal in some way, but I used the spanish to talk with my friends so it was more casual. On the other hand, some people think that there aren’t disadvantages of speaking two languages but there are some actually. However, there are some like for example mixing some words in some language, that creates a word that doesn’t exist and that it’s wrong. Also, there's the problem of sometime forgetting some words and no matter how hard you try to remember you just remember that word in the other language that’s useless, for example this happens to me all the time with spanish and english. To sum up, there are some disadvantages but is nice to talk more than one language because it allows you to express better.

Alcohol and tobacco are substances allowed in most countries and are consumed by both adults and young people, this substance endangers the health of people and if their use is exceeded it can be fatal. Currently there are many young people who consume it but do so without responsibility, in my opinion it is not necessary for them to be illegal.

In the first place, you should control more the sale of these substances since the children who smoke when they go to a store do not ask them for their age and sell them as if nothing and there is no one who controls them and over time they are taking the routine of smoking or drinking more than once a day, on the other hand adults, even if they end up addicted as young people can become more aware when doing so.

Secondly, quite a lot of people would lose their job since they have a business with which they make a living selling tobacco, and would augment unemployed people and this would also affect the government because although the stores are made of tobacco, the commission they take helps pay The health of many people.

In addition, more and more that children smoke or drink it already looks normal and it is not surprising to go down the street and see a child smoking with their friends, but that is not all their fault, it is culap of the education they give them and that parents buy them the tacabco when they ask for it and that is something that the parents should not do and would have to make them not feel attracted to drugs.

Nowadays Black Friday it’s a shopping day that a lot of countries adopted, a lot of countries now have this day. This day is basically a shopping day were there are a lot of sales and big discounts. This day is before Christmas so it’s helpful because it allows buying more gifts to a lower price. But this day just help our consumist spirit.

First of all, I that for the owner of those shops is a good idea, because they put the products cheaper, but they sell a lot more than normally, result in that they don’t lost money. If we talk about economy this is a win-win situation, the seller sells a lot more products and the customer buys products cheaper, but the reality is that doing that we create more junk in our planet, and we contribute in consumism, that’s something upsetting on my point of view.

Secondly, in my opinion this day is unnecessary, we don’t need to waste more that we already do in products we don’t even need. The use of this day is to waste money on things we don’t want, but we buy because we think that it’s a good deal because of it price. I believe that we have to prevent from buying things that we don’t need to help the environment. Everything that we buy new contaminates, so we have to be aware.

So finally, in conclusion I think that this must finish and don’t exist or at last make the people aware of the world situation. We could also make these days more extended so the people wouldn’t buy impulsive.

Nowadays, governments often make many addictive substances illegal because they can harm the health of those who drink them, but tobacco and alcohol can also be dangerous and are legal, should these drugs be illegal?

The government should outlaw these substances, because they are still drugs that affect the body, and this leads to illness, but it would be of no use to outlaw these drugs because they would continue to be consumed, since the consumption and addiction of these substances are not resolved by prohibiting it. Some countries have already tried such as the United States with alcohol and it did not work. Another example would be Spain, people are prohibited from selling alcohol or tobacco to minors and still sell them. The solution is not to outlaw them, the solution would be in public health and education policies.

On the other hand, the only reason why governments don't ban these substances is that they earn more and more money with taxes on tobacco and alcohol. If it were illegal, it would also affect many companies in the tobacco and tobacco sector, and alcohol companies, bars or discos.

It is well known that many people in the world are tobacco and alcohol consumers even though it is not only addictive but also mortal if you exceed its use. What is more, there are a lot of minors consuming these products from a very young age without any control or limitations, but they do not put much effort in preventing teenagers consuming it. It is dangerous for everyone and personally it should not be an option. 

First and foremost, I don't believe that there is an age enough to start smoking or drinking routinely, it does not bring you anything good at any age so it really should be more controlled. However, some adults are more aware of the consequences, even so, they get addicted anyway but they may be more conscious.

Furthermore, minors consuming alcohol and tobacco it’s nowadays a normal thing, this is a really worrying fact. But In my opinion they don’t have the fault because we don’t get more education about it but just adults telling us to not do it, they don’t talk to young people about how dumb is smoking because of stress or drinking because of sadness at young ages. However, the government doesn’t protect teenagers from this type of addictions and it results in so many young people with respiratory and addiction problems.

Some people believe that is typical of minors having that phases of consuming or that they will stop when they grow up, which it is not true. We have so many facilities for making it a permanent routine, we can get alcohol and tobacco from grocery stores where they don't even ask for our ID. What is more, there are parents that buy them for their kids, so more control on teenagers it’s not enough, we have to insist on education so young people don't tend to be attracted on that type of drugs. 

To sum up, alcohol and tobacco should be a more controlled thing because it’s not necessary in our lives and they don’t bring us anything good. Adults have a more mature vision of it, so they can chose clearly what they need or want, nevertheless, it’s not a justification. In my opinion, young people should be more protected from it and more talked about other ways to de-stress or dealing with life problems.

First of all, it’s known and proven that these substances are harmful enough to cause morthal diseases. In my opinion, just for the fact that these kind of substances can take you to death, I think that the goverment should outlaw substances such as alcohol and tobacco. That’d make a healthier society and bring wellness to people.

Alcohol is a very current substance. In fact, you can find it at any supermarket. It’s a relatively cheap substance, and nowadays it’s extremely popular between the younger population, especially at parties. Despite its popularity, an abusive consumption of alcohol can result in a tragedy. Alcohol has been the responsible of more than 6000 ethyl comas on Spain at 2016. Furthermore, it is the responsible of alcoholism, an addiction that left thousands of people homeless and/or sick with severe diseases.

Tobacco is also a common soft drug consumed by people all around the world. As long as i’m concerned, tobacco causes 1,2 million deaths per year. Tobacco contains nicotine, a highly addictive substance that causes people to depend on it. Every cigarette contains petrol derived substances that can lead to many types of cancer, being lung and neck cancer the most common types. Tobacco packs contain explicit images and information about it, however, people still consumes tobacco.

Personally, I think that all these substances must be banned from every single supermarket, as I said before, in order to get a healthier population. Furthermore, the ban of these substances will evite internal conflicts on families, friends, couples… To sum up, it’ll make the goverment wealthier, so the money can be spent in the country’s progress and not into people who’s sick because of the use of tobacco and alcohol.
