DIALOGUE - Sabrina Soto

Claudia is walking alone listening to music on her headphones, and suddenly Andrew appears.
Claudia: Andrew hello, what are you doing here i thought you were with Paige.
Andrew: Yes, I was with Paige. I wanted to ask you, why are you being like this with her? You are aggressive when she’s around, you just act like she doesn't deserve anything, only the baddest. I thought it was a silly game between girls, but this is not normal, you can’t talk to her like that or make her feel bad for no reason.
Claudia: What are you trying to say?
Andrew: Claudia I'm saying that this is over, you are not going to treat her like that again. It’s not fear. She is new in the school, she needs help.
Claudia: it’s not a big deal. It’s just a girl in high school.
Andrew: Claudia it is a big deal, promise me that this won’t happen again. Just be nice, I'm not saying that you have to be her friend… just be nice and stop doing these things.
Claudia: Maybe you are right, I will do my best. But I'm not going to be her friend.

OPTION A

-Hey Jess, do you have some time?
-Sure, tell me.
-Lately I’ve seen something wrong with you.
-Uhm? What do you mean?
-It’s the way you treat Carol.
-What are you talking about?
-Don’t act like if you didn’t know what are you doing to her.
-I did absolutely nothing wrong to her.
-Yesterday I saw you pushing her down the stairs. I also see how hard you were laughing at her. Today I saw how you were making fun of her with all your friends while Carol was listening to her. But hey, you did absolutely nothing wrong to her.
-Dude, it was all just a prank. Nothing serious.
-A prank? Seriously? Hurting somebody and later make fun of the way she looks? Are you kidding me?
-She…
-No, stop. There’s no excuse in what you’ve done. Carol is suffering a lot. She has a very hard time trying to fit with other people, and now she’s being bullied. By my friend. Do you still think it’s funny?
-Maybe I’ve crossed the line a little bit.
-A little bit isn’t enough.
-I’ll go to talk with her and apologize.
-You better do, because I don’t want this type of people as my friend. It’s disgusting the way you are acting.
-I’m sorry…
-No, you say sorry to Carol. Not to me. Once you’ve done that, we’ll talk, and we’ll see if I want to keep being your friend.

DIALOGUE INGRID (Option 1)

Anna is suspecting that her friend Natasha has been being a bully and she wants to talk with her because what she is doing to the people it’s wrong:

Natasha: What did you want to say to me?

Anna: I know this conversation may be weird for you, because we never talk about these things, but I think this is serious enough to talk about it.

Natasha: Are you okay? You’re scaring me.

Anna: I think there’s a problem with your behavior with the people in the class, especially with Noah.

Natasha: What? Are you going to defend this rat? Are you friends now or what?

Anna: I don’t have to be her friend to know that what your attitude with her isn’t the correct. Listen, I know your situation at home, and isn’t easy, but you can’t pay your frustrations with some other people that has nothing to do about it, you are a person, and they are too.

Natasha: But I didn’t do anything wrong, you are overstating…

Anna: No I’m not, you think your attitude it’s normal but it’s not. You have to improve yourself and treat the others better. And if you need some help, hear I am, but I can’t allow your behavior any more, do you understand me?

Natasha: mmm… Yes, I think so… Thank you Anna, I don’t want to be this way, I just am…

Anna: It’s okay Natasha, I’m with you.

Max: Hey Chloe, I wanted to tell you that lately, you've been bothering Rachel.

Chloe: What?! But I haven't done anything and you don't have proofs

Max: Okay, calm down. I'm just saying that you've been acting strange around her in a bad way like sometimes you punch her for no reason, you act very rude with her and you may think that you're joking and having fun with her when you are really disturbing her.

Chloe: That's not true. I'm not acting strange with Rachel, she's been acting strange with me the whole time. Haven't you notice it?

Max: Chloe, you can't fool me, you've been bullying her in some way and you have to apologize to her.

Chloe: Maybe you're right, okay I'll do it tomorrow in class.

DIALOGE OPTION 2-Marina Nieto

Josefa and Alfredo, two teachers from the Jesuitas el clot school, had a discussion about the use of ICT.

Josefa: ICT does not seem practical to me, since we cannot communicate well with the students.
Alfredo: If they can, through emails and video conferences.
Josefa: Yes, but it is not the same, because I do not know if the student has a bad situation at home and I can say something that does not sit well with him, related to the results.
Alfredo: Yes, but these are separate cases.
Josefa: They may be more than you think.
Alfredo: Well, but when it comes to dividing and delivering the works, it is much easier for us and for them.
Josefa: Yes, but many times the internet does not go well and some do not have the internet.
Alfredo: Yes ... you're right.
Josefa: The best thing is to go back to the usual, that there be more humanity and fewer screens.
