THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER

The perks of being a wallflower is an American film published in 2012 based in a book written by Sthephen Chbosky.

The movie talks about Charlie's story, who writes to an unnamed friend and explains his experiences at the high school after his death and to meet Sam and Patrick. Charlie is a shy boy, he lost her aunt when he was little and that changed him a lot. He meets Patrick in high school and he became his friend, then he meets Sam, Patrick's stepsister. With them, Charlie will live new experiences, great moments, he will fall in love...

I really love this movie because it's a teenagers story, we can identify with them and with their problems. I think the cast helps a lot to like the movie and the characters.

My only criticism is that I think there is too much drama in the plot and makes it more boring.

I really recommend this movie a lot, I think that is a good for teenagers like us.

The perks of being a wallflower- Alessandra

The perks of being a wallflower.
"The perks of being a wallflower", a youth film with romance and drama, is an adaptation              made by the author of the book, Stephen Chbosky. The main characters are 3 youngs: charlie8 Logan Lerman), Sam (Emma Watson) and Patrick (Ezra Miller).

The film focuses on Charlie, a shy guy who doesn't have friends but a terrible past. The story is epistolary and Charlie goes telling what happens to him through letter to an unknown friend. During the course of the story he is getting friends, Patrick, a lively and funny guy and Sam, a nice girl who Charlie falls in love with. In the end he manages to overcome the problem he has ralated to his aunt.

As good aspects I think that the main characters were well performed. And the story seems realistic. As bad aspects, i didn't like the behavior of charlie, he was so shy and I sometimes didn't like his actions.

Although the movie has rare scenes, I think it's ok and interesting, because some things happen that you don't expect.

The perks of being a wallflower

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a movie adaptation based on a book with the same name written by Stephen Chbosky, who is also the director. For the main cast, they chose famous actors like Logan Lerman (Charlie), Emma Watson (Sam) and Ezra Miller (Patrick).

It tells the story of Charlie, an introvert boy in his first freshman year. There he will meet two seniors, Patrick and Sam, who will make that Charlie start living as the teenager that he should be. He will fall in love, live good moments and not so good and much more that will make his school year be like a roller coaster.

I find the movie enjoyable. Although it shows a typical high-school picture, the storyline and the characters are thrilling and moving. The role of Charlie is brilliantly performed. Logan did an amazing job showing Charlie’s thoughts, his feelings, his emotions, and his expressions. It feels very real and makes you get emotional. However, in my opinion, Ezra (Patrick) is definitely the stand-out; his performance is exceptional. Even his type of character is very typical and used in other movies; he manages to make it unique.

My only criticism is the way that they show Charlie’s past; it is very confusing and imprecise. Sometimes you didn’t know what is happening and which is the true meaning of the scene.

I recommend it if you want to see an unusual movie of teen drama. This movie not only consists of teenagers problems and loves that will be impossible in real life, but it also talks about serious issues like abuse, homophobia, child abuse, and toxic relationships. It’s completely worth it if you don’t want to see another movie cliché.

The perks of being a wallflower is a youth drama and romance film, released on September 21, 2012 in the United States, based on the homonymous novel published in 1999. The film is adapted and directed by Stephen Chbosky, author of the book.

This film is about a boy named Charlie (Logan Leman) a freshman, who is always alone because he is not a very sociable guy. The first day of class ends by befriending his literature teacher Mr. Anderson (Paul Rudd). Charlie becomes friends with two boys of the last grade, Patrick (Ezra Miller) and his stepsister Sam (Emma Watson). Days later they invite Charlie to a party where as a brownie with marijuana, Charlie tells Sam that his best and only friend had committed suicide. She tells him that his first kiss has to be from a person who loves him and she kisses him. Despite what Charlie feels for Sam, he starts dating Mary Elizabeth. At a party while playing truth or challenge Patrick told Charlie to kiss the prettiest girl in the room and what Mary Elizabeth did not expect was to kiss Sam, to do this Mary Elizabeth ran away and Sam went after At that moment, the friendship they had was broken and Charlie was back with the beginning. One day Patrick was fighting with a boy and Charlie, seeing what was happening, got up and helped Patrick to protect himself.

I liked the movie a lot and I would recommend it because it talks about things that really happen, many young people have to go through that and it is very difficult but sooner or later you find people who have the same interests and with whom you can talk.

THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER

“The perks of being a wallflower” is an American film directed by Stephen Chbosky.
This movie was filmed in Pittsburgh and was premiered in 2012. Also this film has famous stars like Emma Watson, Ezra Miller and Mae Whitman for example.

The main character is Charlie, a boy who has a lot of difficulties in making friends. Finally he make two new friends, Patrick and his step-sister Sam who both are one year older than him. Both friends will change his life letting him to take part of their group of friends.
Charlie have a lot of new experiences, but one day, he have to let his friends go because they have finished high school and Sam wants to go to the University of Pennsylvania, that confuses his feelings and starts to remember the death of his aunt Helen.
The plot of the film is about suicide.

This is a groundbreaking film, which film talks about suicide and is aimed at a young audience? The plot is interesting and all actors made a good job with their characters.

On the other hand, the film has repetitive scenes and although the film is interesting, in a lot of cases I think it is previsible.

The film keeps the audience interested during all the film due to the unusual topic and how the director deals with it.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

This film premiered in 2012, was directed by Stephen Chbosky. Stephen Chbosky was also the writer of the novel and directed other films as “ Beauty and the Beast” and “Wonder”. Is starting Logan Lerman (Charlie), Emma Watson (Sam) y Ezra Miller (Patrick).

Charlie is the protagonist, a boy from high school. He is shy and introverted. He know two students, Patrick and Sam. Begins to feel and understand many things.

I liked this movie, because it show many things that teenagers feel. The history is very good, the acting and the characters. I would recommended it to teenagers and adults, because I think it is a movie that all teens should see. And the adults to relive that time of this life, and maybe help their children.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a 2012 film directed and written by Stephen Chbosky.  In this movie is starring some famous as Logan Lerman , Emma Watson, Ezra Miller...

In this film he explains how Charlie (Logan Lerman) begins his first year of high school in his new school. He is a persona very shy, so at first, she has no friends until she meets Sam (Emma Watson) and Patrick (Ezra Miller) becoming her best friends.

I really liked it because it mixes drama and something romance that I do not usually see much in movies.  What I liked most about this film are two scenes: first the scene in which Charlie ends up kissing Sam ... obviously this scene had to happen and finally when at the end of the movie Charlie goes out of the truck stretching the arms demonstrating that he feels free.

I recommend this film, because it is something different from that we usually shows in other movies, since it talks about school abuse, sexuality and obviously the difficult romance.

The perks of being a wallflower

The perks of being a wallflower is a story about Charlie, a very shy guy and his life in high school who writes a diary to an anonymus friend.

I think the story focuses on Charlie feelings. He meets two nice new friends, Patrick and Sam, they are very popular but it seems like they don't care so they just make Charlie meet new feelings and experiences and strarting a friendship at the same time.
Although he begins to feel that things are changing his past still hurts.

I find the film acceptable but i wouldn't watch it again, maybe I should because I think my problem is that I didnt pay enough attention so maybe it was boring for me ( unless in kiss scenes, it caused me tenderness)

I wouldn't recommend it, there are better films to see in my opinion but it's ok if you really enjoy teenagers dramas in high schools.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a movie of 2012 written and directed by Stephen Chbosky. The movie cast features Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, and Ezra Miller.

The movie explains how Charlie (Logan Lerman), a shy and introverted freshman, starts his first year of High School and meets Sam (Emma Watson) and Patrick (Ezra Miller), who become friends.

It's a good movie if you like teenage dramas and the characters are very interesting by themselves and their own stories.

But in my opinion, the story of Charlie's aunt is not very clear and I don't know why I feel that the film, in general, is empty, that something is missing.

In conclusion, this is a good movie to see on your sofa after having lunch, but I wouldn't watch it again, at least for now.

Film Review - "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" by Laia Piqué

The film that we have been seeing in English is The Perks of Being a Wallflower, a film for teenagers, with drama, love and fun. The protagonists of this movie are Logan Lerman, Ezra Miller and Emma Watson. The director is Stephen Chbosky.

The good things about this film are, the fantastic story, the good acting, etc. The plot is one of the best I have ever seen, is a mix of romance, with drama. The story talks about a lot of things that in the real life we try to hide, like sexuality, drugs, abuse and suicide. I really like that the movie talks about real love, not idealization, not always the person that you love will correspond you, and some people just play with others, and if you are gay you have to be hidden. A part the movie show us how damage can be a teenager, like that shy boy is shy for something, he has a story behind.
The actors are perfect like they do really well like the characters, and they act pretty well.
There’s just one thing that personally I don’t like, and is that the movie have too much drama, anyone of the characters have a good love and that for me is a bit sad because I enjoy the romance.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a film for that people that search for a different type of movie, not just love or drama, this film is different and so interesting. This story keeps you interested in the whole film.

Film Review- Marina Nieto

The movie "The perks of being a wallflower", was created in 2012 in the United States. The director is Stephen Chbosky. The protagonist is Logan Lerman, but there are also other very important actors in the movie, such as: Emma Watson and Ezra Miller.

The protagonist (charlie), who is shy and marginalized, writes a series of letters to an unknown person in which he talks about matters such as friendship, family issues, love, sex or drugs. and throughout the film he has to face the difficulties, while struggling to find a group of people with whom he can fit and feel comfortable.

What I liked the most is how it shows some problems that some teenagers have today and I liked how everything is developing.
And what I did not like very much was that there were scenes that bored me or made me less attentive.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a movie directed an written by Stephen Chbosky. The cast of this movie is formed by Charlie (Logan Lerman), Sam (Emma Watson) and Patrick (Ezra Miller). These are the principal characters, but there are many more. This movie shows how Charlie deals with his first year at high school. He is really a shy and introverted guy, so it's kinda difficult for him to make new friends. However, he ends meeting Sam and Patrick, and they become really good and close friends. Charlie also has to face off some love struggles. I really enjoyed this film, it even made me go really sentimental. I felt really identified with Charlie, because i'm also so shy, and it's a bit hard. I would really recommend this movie to everyone. For me it's a 9/10.

<<The perks of being a wallflower>> is a movie directed by Stephen Chboski on 2012.

The film is a "Highschool drama", the film is  about Charlie, a teenager who starts his first year on high school, he starts being shy and having difficulties to make friends, on the movie we can see his evolution, the movie treats too about depression and anxiety.

I think the movie is a good option if you want to see something on a punctual case, my favorite part of the movie was the end,but there a little question i have of this movie: Who are Charlie writing and why are he using a typewriter.

This movie is a 7/10

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a dramatic film directed by Stephen Chboski, who is also the writer of the book which the movie is based on. It tells the story of Charlie, (brought to screen by Logan Lerman) and how he faces his first year of secondary school.

This moving movie explains how Charlie overcomes relationships problems, either with his family, friends or classmates, and his experience through secondary school, trying to be more sociable and open with his new friends Patrick, (Ezra Miller) and Sam (Emma Watson) about his personal problems which have an important impact throughout his life and the film.

I liked the film and I would recommend it because it talks about a secondary school, which has its perks and difficulties, and also how teens deal with their problems. This film has also won several awards like the Independent Spirit Awars and the Teen Choice Award to the Best Film of Drama.

THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER

"The Perks of Being a Wallflower" is a 2012 American film written and directed by Stephen Chbosky, based on Chbosky's book. The movie's cast features several famous actors like Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, Ezra Miller an Paul Rudd.

The movie is about Charlie, an student who starts his freshman year of high school. He is shy and it's difficult to him make new friends. He meets two seniors, Sam and Patrick, they become friends, and from there starts Charlie's story.

The most enjoyable thing about the film is the way of how friends treat each other, always searching the happiness of the friend without thinking about themselves.

The only fault I can find is the story with Charlie's aunt, I think it's too hard the way they show it.

It's a very good film. It's different to other teenager's movies and good to watch if you don't want to think a lot.
