The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a dramatic film directed by Stephen Chboski, who is also the writer of the book which the movie is based on. It tells the story of Charlie, (brought to screen by Logan Lerman) and how he faces his first year of secondary school.
This moving movie explains how Charlie overcomes relationships problems, either with his family, friends or classmates, and his experience through secondary school, trying to be more sociable and open with his new friends Patrick, (Ezra Miller) and Sam (Emma Watson) about his personal problems which have an important impact throughout his life and the film.
I liked the film and I would recommend it because it talks about a secondary school, which has its perks and difficulties, and also how teens deal with their problems. This film has also won several awards like the Independent Spirit Awars and the Teen Choice Award to the Best Film of Drama.
