Nowadays, learning more than one language is a vital skill that allows us to interact with other people from different places through a faster way.
On the one hand, I think this can cause you a lot of benefits, this benefits are that you can found easier a job because there are a lot of companies that look for workers who can communicate without problems with clients of other countries, and I also think that the bilingual workers are able to get higher wages. Another point is that if you are bilingual you could have more opportunities to learn about other cultures and respect them, and moreover to improve your knowledge getting new values.
But on the other hand, I also think that there are some disadvantages to be bilingual, one of them is to mix language because people tend to use whatever words that they find easily to communicate with, and furthermore I think that mixing pronunciation could be another disadvantage cause by the dominance of one language over the other one.
In conclusion, I personally think that being bilingual is a good way of learning new cultures and improving your knowledge.
