"The perks of Being a Wallflower" is a book originally written by Stephen Chbosky.
The story relates the life of a boy, Charlie (Logan Lerman), a very smart guy, talented and unsociable, preferring to observe life from a distance. He has his reasons, he explains some from the beginning, others discovered later and we found the fattest in the final stretch.
Patrick, an extroverted and charismatic boy with his stepsister Sam hep Charlie overcome his shyness, make friens and have a really good first. to discover himself, accept and participate in life. "We are infinite", thinks Charlie, happy, energetic, while listening to your new favourite song in the company of yours best friends. And one can not help remembering their own experiences...
Patrick encourage Charlie to come out of hiding but Sam (Emma Watson) which alter more to the boy totally and hopelessly in love. One of the most inspired "The advantages of being an Wallflower" sections is dedicated to Charlie's efforts to accept and overcrome the idea of seeing the girl who has stolen her heart in the arms of another man. Wich of course is an asshole. Neither she especially likes, but, on reflection accept "We accept the love we think we deserve".
Chbosky always first looking for the riht balance in the portrait oh three young friends confused transition to adulthood. No shortage of conventionality film about teenagers, plot and character development is predictable, it neglects the boy's family.
This film is especially for viewers who prowl the age of the protagonists or those who want a nostalgic return to the turmoil of adolescence.
